Águia Amazonas Turismo, is one of the businesses, that run and operate with regional boats lodges offering cruises and accommodation in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest ,helping the natives families. We show how to preserve the mighty Rainforest, rivers, fish, animals and birds. In places to do Jungle walks, we take one or two of the natives to guide the clients into the forest, showing the Eco system and all kind of plants (herbs), that is used today. We strive to help the native communities by offering job opportunities and a closer contact with the authentic Brazilian Amazon Rainforest. Join us in our quest and discover the real rainforest and its people with Águia Amazonas Turismo.
About the Regional Boat and Yacht Cruises
In the Regional boat cruise, (sleeping in hammocks and mosquito nets), there is a school that shows our clients, ideas how to preserve the Rain Forest, in places where we stop to spend the nights,we don´t use the generators, only for necessary things. In the Yacht Cruise,(in cabins),usage of a generator is necessary but to avoid disturbing the nature and wildlife we don´t stop close to the and because of the animals. All materials that are used in the Boat (like Cans,Plastic,Papers and bottles are brought back to Manaus for recycling.
Rivers that are visited.
The Rio Solimões and Amazon are rich in land, less Forest ,fish, more mosquito’s and native families,”why” is because the river is restaurant .The Rio Negro is not much rich, less fish, less natives, less mosquito’s, but more Forest. So that is why the Águia Amazonas Turismo take their clients to visit the Rio Negro. But have the first experience in the Rio Solimões then Rio Negro.
